A fire has broken out inside a godown on Izzuddin Magu in Male' City on Wednesday evening.
According to MNDF, the fire originated in a warehouse near Thoiba Mosque in the Maafannu ward, and firefighters are currently on the scene working to contain the blaze.
A source in the area told Sun that the incident occurred at around 21:30.
No further details have been confirmed so far. The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has also stated that it is responding to the incident. It remains unclear whether anyone has been injured.
