IGMH announces service hours for Ramadan

Health professionals working at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH): IGMH has announced service hours for Ramadan.

The main government hospital, Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), has announced its service hours for the holy month of Ramadan, which kicked off on Wednesday.

IGMH stated that all department counters will function from 8:30am to 14:30pm, starting from the first day of Ramadan until the first seven days of Shawwal.

The laboratory will receive routine test samples between 8:00am to 17:00pm. Samples for post-prandial blood glucose tests (two hours after a meal) and stool samples will be accepted from 20:00pm to 21:00pm.

For tests that are sent abroad, samples will be collected on Sundays and Wednesdays from 9:00am to 11:00am. On other days, excluding Fridays, sample collection will take place from 8:00am to 10:00am.

X-ray services will be available from 8:00am to 14:30pm. Additional imaging services — including CT scans, MRI scans, ultrasound scans, mammograms, and Bone Mineral Density (BMD) tests — will be available from 8:00am to 14:00pm.

Emergency services will continue to be provided 24 hours a day throughout the month of Ramadan.
