Dhiraagu celebrates International Day of Education with exclusive student event

Dhiraagu kicked off their Student Connect program on the International Day of Education on Saturday by hosting an exclusive event for students from colleges and universities, reaffirming their commitment to empowering youth through connectivity, innovation, and digital opportunity.

The inaugural edition of Dhiraagu Student Connect, the ISIC Edition brought students together for an engaging evening, featuring exclusive student-only offers and discounts, alongside fun activities, gaming, and entertainment.

Participants also received a free one-year subscription to the Dhiraagu x ISIC Student Discount Card, giving them access to exclusive benefits and discounts both locally and globally, providing lasting value beyond the event itself.

Speaking at the event, Dhiraagu’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ali Riyaz highlighted the company’s continued focus on youth empowerment.

“At Dhiraagu, we believe in supporting students beyond connectivity. By creating opportunities, offering meaningful benefits, and engaging with them in spaces they value, we aim to empower young people with the tools and experiences that help them move confidently towards their future,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dhiraagu’s Director of Brand and Marketing Communications, Mirshan Hassan emphasized the importance of digital enablement in education.

“Education today goes hand in hand with digital access. From AI-powered learning tools to high-speed connectivity, our goal is to equip students with the digital solutions they need to excel academically, professionally, and creatively in an increasingly digital world,” he said.

Speaking on behalf of ISIC Maldives, Ilyas Haneef expressed appreciation for the continued collaboration.
