Leo Store warns customers of counterfeit Weichai engines, generators and spare parts

Leo Store and Supply Pvt Ltd, the sole authorized distributor of Weichai in the Maldives, has urged customers to be cautious of counterfeit products being sold under the Weichai and Baudouin names.

The company said it has identified cases where non‑genuine engines, generators, and spare parts are being imported into the Maldives through workshops and third‑party suppliers in other countries. Leo Store stressed that it is the only party licensed to sell and market Weichai engines, generators, and spare parts in the country.

According to the company, importing Weichai products through unauthorized channels is prohibited. Goods purchased from third parties cannot be verified for authenticity, and Leo Store will not provide any warranty or quality assurance for such items.
