BML welcomes 25 interns under annual program

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has welcomed 25 interns under its annual internship programme at a special ceremony on Sunday.  

This year’s intake includes graduate interns and a new category, Techstart interns, introduced to provide specialized opportunities for IT students. The 12‑month programme offers hands‑on experience across business units, departments, and branches of the bank, while also providing a monthly allowance.  

The ceremony also marked the graduation of participants from last year’s internship programme, with some offered permanent employment opportunities at the bank.  

Launched in 2018, the BML Internship Programme has so far supported 77 students, giving them valuable exposure and experience in the financial sector.
