Majlis considers classifying mosque vandalism as terror

A legislative amendment submitted by a lawmaker from the main opposition Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP) to classify vandalism of mosques as an act of terrorism has been accepted into the Parliament for consideration with the backing of the ruling People’s National Congress (PNC). The amendment to the Counter-Terrorism Act, proposed by North Golhu MP Mohamed Ibrahim (Kudu), was accepted into the
