Air Arabia to double flights to Maldives

Air Arabia, the biggest budget airline from the Middle East and North Africa, has announced its decision to double flight frequency to the Maldives.

Air Arabia commenced flights between the United Arab Emirates (UAE)’s Sharjah and Male’ on October 27, 2024. At present, the airline operates one flight to the Maldives per day.  

The airline announced its decision to double daily flights to the Maldives starting from October 27th via a post on X.

Air Arabia’s CEO Adel Abdullah Ali said the decision was reached to cater to growing demand for the route and to offer greater flexibility for passengers.

Air Arabia utilizes A320s and A321s for its operations. The airline flies to over 80 destinations across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
