Police search for Manadhoo man reported missing from Male’

A search has been launched for a man reported missing from Maldivian capital, Male’ City.

Maldives Police Service identified the missing person as Abdulla Shihadh, 37, Reehusabaa, N. Manadhoo.

The Police, via a post on X, said Shihadh was reported missing by his family last night at approximately 20:05pm. Citing his family, the Police said he had last been in contact at 16:51pm on Saturday evening. 

As such, the Police is undertaking efforts to locate him.

Police, noting Shihadh resides in Male’, said his family has been unable to reach him on his phone.

They have requested anyone with information regarding Shihaadh to contact them at 3322111 or Galolhu Police Station at 9631696.
