Muthalib: Govt. continuously working on improving services at Commercial Harbor

Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure Dr. Abdulla Muthalib states the government is continuously undertaking efforts to further enhance the services provided at Male’ Commercial Harbor and facilitate additional easements for import and export businesses.

The Minister made the remark during a visit to Male’ Commercial Harbor on Monday to observe the operation of the port facilities on the site.

He was accompanied by State Minister Ibrahim Thoaam Mohamed, Maldives Ports Limited (MPL)’s CEO Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim and the company’s senior officials in addition to the technical team from the Ministry.

During the visit, the Minister was briefed on the port relocation project and Thilafushi port development project. He also toured various areas at the harbor, met with employees and inquired regarding the operations underway.
