Tree Top concludes third health camp of 2024

Tree Top Hospital has successfully concluded its third health camp of the year, held this time at Laamu atoll Gan.

The camp was held in collaboration with Gan Regional Hospital and Laamu atoll council authority.

More than 300 people attended the health camp and acquired services.

The health camp provided consultation and diagnosis support for various common and special medical requirements of locals in the area. The health camp provided multiple services, which include.

• Consultation and Screening: locals of Laamu atoll got the chance to consult to specialists and get health screenings.
• Information dissemination and relationship building: Tree Top conducted special discussion sessions with Laamu Regional Hospital and the atoll council to seek collaborative opportunities.
• Fostering a healthy society: sessions led by dietician Miss Riba was held providing key knowledge on healthy eating habits and tips.

Tree Top Hospital hosts the health camps with the aim of bringing specialist medical care to those who do not regularly have access to it, and avoid expenses incurred by patients in having to travel to the capital city for medical treatment.
