BML donates 300 bicycles to children across six islands

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has donated 300 bicycles to children aged 14-17 across six islands in the Maldives.

The donation was announced by the national bank in a statement on Monday.

According to BML, the bicycles were distributed through six local NGOs.

Details of the islands and the NGOs listed below:

• HA. Dhidhoo, Dhidhoo Kurimagu
• B. Eydhafushi, West Wings
• K. Maafushi, New Star Sports Club

• N. Manadhoo, Chester
• M. Mulah, Community Empowerment Linkage
• Vilimale’, Save the Beach

BML said the donation aims to encourage healthy lifestyles and promote sustainable living within communities.
