MIB partners with Clean Maldives to plant 1,000 trees in Kudagiri

Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has partnered with local NGO, Clean Maldives, to plant hundreds of trees at the Kudagiri Picnic Island.

The partnership agreement was signed on Wednesday by MIB’s CEO Mufaddal Idris Khumri and Clean Maldives’ President Hafsath Aleem in a ceremony held at the bank’s headquarters in Male’.

MIB said that 1,000 trees will be planted at Kudagiri, a picnic island that lies near the Maldivian capital, Male’.

The partnership agreement also covers awareness programs and tree planting initiatives in islands across the Maldives.

MIB provides banking services across the Maldives. It also offers a full suit of digital banking services, including the option of opening business bank accounts without needing to visit the bank in-person.
