TikTok Live assault: Police arrest two

Maldives Police Service on Sunday has arrested two suspects in the TikTok live assault.

Police confirmed the two had entered into a Maafannu district residence following a dispute that erupted in a TikTok live stream session. The two reportedly had caused a commotion after entering the house.

The authority also confirmed that though arrested, the two have been released already.

Previously, a local TikTok streamer was arrested for streaming indecent content through his account, but was released later.
