President Muizzu sends condolences following the passing of Solih’s mother

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has extended condolences to former president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s family following the passing of his mother, Moomina Hassanfulhu.

Moomina was 80-years-old at the time of her passing.

President Muizzu, via a post on X, expressed his participation in mourning Maimoona’s death and extended sincere condolences to his family.

He also wished his family patience, and prayed to almighty Allah to grant the departed’s soul with Jannat.

Moomina has 12 children including Solih. They include former Hulhumale’ MP Ali Niyaz, Majeedhiyaa School’s Principal Aishath Mohamed Solih, Fathimath Solih who served as personal secretary to former presidents Maumoon Abdul Gayyoom and Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayyoom and three others, who are visually impaired.

Condolences have flowed to the family following Moomina’s passing.
