Addu Equatorial Hospital on Thursday, announced its Chief Executive Officer and veteran dcotor, Dr. Ibrahim Yasir Ahmed has started his clinical practice.

Dr. Yasir is a seasoned senior consultant in internal medicine with over three decades of patient care, the hospital added, and is considered as one of the most sought-after internal medicine doctors in the country.

His areas of expertise include general practice, management of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and thyroid diseases. He is also an expert the diagnosis and management of infectious diseases and rheumatology.

Dr. Yasir, while retaining his CEO position, will continue to consult patients at the Addu Equatorial Hospital.

The Addu Equatorial Hospital's CEO was appointed to the position earlier on March 17th, 2024.

Prior to his appointment to lead the hospital, Dr. Yasir served as a senior consultant at both Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) and Medica.
