Nazim elected as president, Nadhaa as vice president of PPM youth group

Lead activist of Umar Naseer’s team and PPM Council Member Ibrahim Nazim has been elected as president of the party’s youth group; while member of Abdullah Yameen’s Yageen Team Aminath Nadhaa has been elected as vice president of the group.

Nazim received 29 out of 61 youth votes at the secret vote taken at the party’s ongoing congress, while Zahid Zameer of Yageen Team received 22 votes, and Ibrahim Muaz 8 votes.

Nadhaa was elected as vice president with 40 votes, while Team Umar’s Ahmed Sham’oon received 17 votes, and Mohamed Shahneem received 5 votes.
