Maldives one of Top 45 destinations in 2012

Maldives has been included in the list of “Top 45 Destinations 2012”, announced by the New York Times.

Maldives was ranked 27th on the list which also included Antarctica, Jordan and Italy. Maldives was listed as a must-visit destination and also a paradise for surfers.

Founder and Director of Australia’s Tropic Surf Ross Philips said that “Maldives is the best destination for surfers”, and that, “it has plenty to offer, even for non-surfers”.
