The violations are identified through speed cameras installed at the bridge.

Police note that the caution notices will include no external links.

Police began the initiative after dangerous accidents on Sinamale’ Bridge and the highway; most of which were a result of losing control of the vehicle due to speeding or during overtaking.

Two people were injured in a dangerous crash on the highway just yesterday; a result of a speeding motorbike veering out of control and hitting a car, before crashing into another motorbike.
