Bank of Maldives (BML) has honored the loyalty of its long-serving employees.
At a special function held on Monday, BML presented awards to sixty-four staff who have worked in the Bank for 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years.
Head of Internal Audit Fathimath Rasheeda received a special commendation for serving the Bank for 40 years while Head of Branches and Service Centres Hussain Rasheed, Audit Manager Aminath Hassan and Deputy Senior Officer Aminath Naseer who have all served the Bank for 35 years, also received special recognition at the ceremony.
Speaking at the ceremony, BML’s CEO and Managing Director Karl Stumke extended gratitude to all staff for their hard work, commitment and dedication over the years.
“Our employees are an integral part of our success and I would like to thank each of you for your hard work, commitment and dedication over the years. It is an honor to celebrate you tonight,” he had said.
Long Service Awards held on Monday night is part of the regular series of events held by the Bank to honor its staff. In August this year, the Bank held its annual Staff Awards to recognize the top-performing employees and teams of the past year.
BML is the largest bank and one of the largest employers in the Maldives, with 99 percent of its staff base being Maldivians. The Bank states its human resources policies are aligned with its strategic priorities and promote the highest standards in employee recruitment, development and reward.
