First installment of Anwar Naeem’s ‘The Invincible’ released

The first installment of Anwar Naeem’s fictional trilogy, ‘The Invincible: The Confusion’ has been released on Thursday.

The book was launched by First Lady Fazna Ahmed during a special ceremony held at the National Library.

Speaking at the launching event, First Lady Fazna stressed the importance of supporting writers and fostering an environment conducive to their success. She encouraged authors and writers to consume knowledge through reading, emphasizing that good writers are also avid readers, just as good orators are good listeners. She also underscored the importance of perseverance and maintaining an open mind in the pursuit of writing.

First Lady Fazna also praised Anwar Naeem’s work and his passion.

Anwar Naeem, speaking on his book, said it was written based on his own fictional prompts. He also said received the most support from his family in the course of the writing the book.

Talented writer Anwar Naeem is religious scholar Dr. Anara Naeem’s brother. He holds a masters degree from a British university. Anwar Naeem also served in the Maldives Police Service for 18 years. At the time he wrote the book, he was serving as the head of Central Area Command.  

Two more installments of the trilogy are set to be released later.
