BML opens application for second phase of Community Fund 2022

Bank of Maldives (BML), on Monday, has opened application for the second phase of this year’s ‘Aharenge Bank Community Fund’.

‘Aharenge Bank Community Fund’ is a prominent part of BML’s Corporate Social Responsibility – which aims to empower NGOs to contribute to their communities by way of sustainable projects.

Administered in quarters, the Bank selects successful proposals for community-based projects falling under the themes; education, environment, sports and community development – in each phase. Each winning proposal will be awarded MVR 50,000 to implement the proposed project.

Under the second phase of this year’s Community Fund – 10 winning proposals will be selected. Only registered NGOs may submit proposals.

The deadline for proposal submission is 11:59pm on August 10th, 2023.

BML has instructed to email proposals with supporting documents to [email protected].

The bank underscored that they have provided financial assistance for 90 projects across the country so far through its Community Fund.
