National Security Committee passes to summon Nazim and Riyaz

The Parliament’s National Security Committee has decided to summon Commissioner of Police Abdullah Riyaz and Defence Minister Mohamed Nazim to the committee, to investigate the change of former President Mohamed Nasheed’s government.

This decision was made unanimously by the members present at the ongoing committee meeting.

The decision to summon Nazim and Riyaz was made following investigation by the committee of the report by the Commission of National Inquiry (CNI) on the change of government.
