ATM outside IGMH vandalized

One of the ATM machines at the self-service banking center located outside the Indhira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) in Male’ has been vandalized.

The incident was reported to police at 05:11 am on Saturday.

The police said the case was under investigation, but released no further details.

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has three ATM machines at its self-service banking center outside IGMH’s main entrance. The machine in the middle was vandalized in the incident.

The incident comes as the police warn of a rise in thefts and robberies in the Maldivian capital during the holidays.
