Owner sought for 10,000 Bangladeshi Taka found at VIA

Police, on Thursday, has made a public announcement seeking the owner of 10,000 Bangladeshi Taka found inside Velana International Airport (VIA).

Police said the money was discovered on the morning of May 19^th near a table located in front of the Thai Express at VIA’s food court.

The money, which was stored in a tissue packet, was handed over to airport police by a group of people who discovered it.

Police have requested the rightful owner of the money to contact airport police at 9968024 in order to claim it.
