Salaha appointed Chief Internal Auditor

Fathimath Salaha has been appointed the Chief Internal Auditor in accordance with the Public Finance Act.

President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih appointed Salaha to the post on Thursday, April 13^th, under Section 44-2(b) of the Public Finance Act, at the deputy minister level.

Salaha became a member of the Chartered Certified Accountants of the Maldives this year.. She has also been a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) of the UK since 2014.

She was serving as the Chief Audit Executive at the Finance Ministry prior to her appointment as the Chief Internal Officer. Salaha has previously served as the Manager, Finance and Accounts at TradeNet Maldives Corporation Limited and as the Manager, Financial Institutions Audit at the Attorney General's Office.
