Ooredoo Maldives approves MVR 3.04 per share as dividend

Ooredoo Maldives, during its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, voted to distribute MVR 3.04 per share as dividend for the year 2022.

The 2022 dividend is MVR 0.34 higher than the MVR 2.70 distributed as divided for the year 2021.

Ooredoo Maldives held its AGM at Crossroads Maldives on Wednesday night.

The company also approved audited financial statements, and approved to hire PricewaterhouseCoopers as the company’s auditor.

Ooredoo Maldives’ audited financial statements show the company’s revenue in 2022 was MVR 200 million than in 2021. The company had generated MVR 560 million as revenue in 2022.

125 shareholders had attended the AGM at Crossroads. The MVR 3.04 divided passed with the vote of 87 percent of shareholders.
