Price of Ye Ye Coffee reduced by 15%

BHM Traders, importers of Ye Ye Coffee to the Maldives, has reduced the price of the product by 15%. This means that the price of a large packet goes down by Rf 12, and the price of a case of Ye Ye coffee goes down by Rf 231.

Due to a 15% reduction in the duty on coffee, a case of Ye Ye coffee which was previously sold for Rf 1,542 is now available at Rf 1,311. A large packet which includes 50 small packets is now available at Rf 68.25 excluding GST. The previous price of a large packet was Rf 80.25.

The price inclusive of GST of a Ye Ye coffee case is Rf 1,389.66, and that of a large packet inclusive of GST is Rf 72.35.

The Sales and Marketing Manager of BHM Ibrahim Shareef said today, that the shipments of Coast milk, cooking oil and Akbar tea which are estimated to arrive at the end of the month, will be sold at a lower price following the percentage reduction in import duty.

“The products imported by us will be sold at a price after deducting the cut in import duty,” Shareef said.

They also introduced Ye Ye diet coffee to the market yesterday, of which a large packet is sold at Rf 42.
