Taxi rolls over in accident in Hulhumale’

A taxi to flipped on its side in an accident in Hulhumale’ on Monday, resulting in injuries to the driver.

The accident took place at approximately 10:30 pm.

 Sun’s reporter at the scene said the accident took place shortly after the taxi exited the highway and entered Hulhumale’.

A police spokesperson said the accident resulted in injuries to the driver, identified as a 45-year-old Maldivian male.

He was taken to the hospital.

There were no passengers on board the taxi when the accident took place.

The police are looking into the accident.
