BML celebrates International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Bank of Maldives (BML) has partnered with Maldives Deaf Association (MDA) to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

BML and MDA held a children’s evening in K. Guraidhoo on Saturday to celebrate the day.

According to BML, over 200 individuals from The Home for People with Special Needs joined and participated in the activities.

The event was held with the aim of providing inclusive opportunities for the deaf community and the society to come together, said BML.

And on Sunday, BML distributed gift packs for all SEN students of Imaduddin School.

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is marked on December 3.
