‘Human Rights Art Exhibition’ commences at National Art Gallery

Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM) has announced that entries by students from across the country in the ‘Human Rights Art Exhibition’ hosted by the Commission in collaboration with Transparency Maldives will be showcased today and tomorrow.

The ‘Human Rights Art Exhibition’ is held for the purpose of raising awareness regarding human rights amongst school children. This competition was held in conjunction with National Children’s Day, and targeted for students enrolled in grades eight, nine and ten.

HRCM detailed that 90 students from 15 schools submitted entries for the competition. In this regard, the artworks of all students who took part in the competition will be available for viewing on HRCM’s website.

The physical exhibition will take place today and tomorrow at National Art Gallery – between 10:00am-18:00pm and 20:00pm-22:00pm.
