Police: No suspect yet in death of woman in Gaafaru guesthouse

Police state they have yet to identify a suspect in the case of a young woman found dead in a guesthouse in K. Gaafaru last week.

Najila Luthfee, 28, of AA. Bodufulhadhoo was found dead with injuries on her body in a room in a guesthouse in Gaafaru on Monday, March 21.

A police spokesperson told Sun on Saturday morning that they have yet to identify a suspect in the case.

“The case is under investigation by the police,” said the spokesperson.

A Gaafaru resident who previously spoke to Sun said that Najila traveled to Gaafaru alone, and wasn’t seen interacting with anyone.
