WAMCO opens application for apprenticeship programme

Waste Management Corporation Limited (WAMCO) has opened up training opportunities under the National Apprenticeship Programme.

This marks the second time WAMCO has opened applications for the apprentice programme.

As per the corporation, there will be 16 slots available in this batch.

Under WAMCO’s programme, training will be given on automotive maintenance mechanics, storekeeping, cashier and welding.

Additionally, they noted that those taking part in the 6-month programme will be given a monthly allowance of MVR 5,000.  

Those interested can submit applications via the link until March 8, 2022, said WAMCO.

The National Apprenticeship Programme aims to provide learning and training opportunities from the working environment.

Those completing this programme are awarded a National Certificate level 1 from the Maldives Qualification Authority.
