Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has announced the halt of its patient portal service citing security issues.

In a statement released by the hospital today, they said that efforts were underway to solve the issue – adding that the service will be resumed as soon as the issue is fixed.

An alleged leak of two years’ worth of records from this portal which details all services provided to a patient by IGMH, in addition to personal information of patients, had come to light earlier today. Many have stated that the portal service was halted after the news.
