Man found dead in house in Male’

A man has been found dead in a house in Male’ City. 

A police spokesperson said authorities received report of a person lying collapsed in a house in Maafannu district of Male’ City at approximately 09:00 pm Sunday. 

Police identified the deceased as a 44-year-old male. 

A medical doctor from police who attended to the scene confirmed he was already deceased when found, said the spokesperson. 

Police have not disclosed any more details. 

“We are conducting necessary inquiries in connection to this,” said the spokesperson.
