91-year-old dies at Eydhafushi COVID-19 Management Facility, marking 217th death

A COVID-19 patient admitted in B. Atoll Covid Management Facility at B. Eydhafushi has passed away.

Health Protection Agency (HPA) identified the latest COVID-19 fatality as a 91-year-old Maldivian female. She passed away at 01:05 hours in Tuesday morning.

Her death increased the number of COVID-19 fatalities in the Maldives to 217.

This is the seventh COVID-19 related death in the Maldives this July.
