Air Seychelles is set to once again commence operations to the Maldives.

The airline operated between the Maldives and Johannesburg, South Africa during the last New Year holidays and winter season.

The airline will commence operations once again between Johannesburg and the Maldives from June to October as well as from December to January.

The operations will see Air Seychelles transit at Seychelles. An Air Seychelles spokesperson stated to a South African travel newspaper that the flight duration will be around nine hours.

The June-October operations are targeted for those visitors during the low tourist season. The operations of the airline in the winter season of last year saw massive demand.
