The President’s Office said that the team will consist of 23 officials including 11 nurses, 10 medical assistants and an anesthesiologist. They will be working alongside medical workers in the Maldives.

The team will work in health centers in atolls as well as hospitals across the nation. The President’s Office also stated that the arrival of the team will help expatriate workers living in the Maldives to get vaccinations.
