Civil aviation policy of Maldives for next 5 years formed

Minister for Transport and Civil Aviation Aishath Nahula has formulated the civil aviation policy of the Maldives for the next five years. 

The Minister signed the Flight Plan 2020-2025 in a ceremony held recently which was described as a massive victory by the Ministry.

The policy is based on key five areas. They are sustainability and environment protection and connecting Maldivian with the world in a sustainable economic manner. 

The strategic plan’s purpose is to develop the Maldivian civil aviation industry for the future. The Ministry said that this is the first time a road plan to prioritize the developments of the industry and paving the way for industry stakeholders to move forward was formulated.
