Resort employees permitted to return to work

Employees of resorts have been permitted to return to work.

A statement issued by the Tourism Ministry read that HPA has made arrangements for resort staff to travel to their resorts to continue work.

Employees on islands where monitoring mechanisms are not in place nor have been for the last 14 days will be permitted to do so, according to the statement.

Staff from islands under monitoring mechanisms and islands which were under monitoring mechanisms in the last 14 days, will be allowed to rejoin work after completing a mandatory quarantine process of 14 days on the resort, said the Tourism Ministry citing the decision of the HPA.

HPA should also be informed of employees returning to work under these instructions. Employees returning should inform the Ministry via its hotline 7223131 or email to [email protected].
