Covid-19 patient in Maldives recovers, total recoveries at 9

The Maldivian government has just now announced that another patient who tested positive for the Covid-19 virus in the country has recovered.

The news means that out of the 13 confirmed cases in the country, nine have made full recoveries. Four more patients confirmed with the virus still remain in isolation facilities in the country.

IGMH Dr. Mohamed Ali stated in a news conference tonight that a Covid-19 patient being treated in the 11th floor of IGMH had recovered. Authorities confirm the recovery of such patients after receiving negative results from two tests.
