Case against Mustafa sent to PG Office

A case accusing Thimarafushi MP Mohamed Mustafa of contributing to loss of peace and order by spreading false information, has been sent to the Prosecutor General’s (PG) Office.

Police commenced their investigation into this case on 26 August 2012, and sent it to PG Office last Monday.

Police said that the investigation was in relation to Mustafa’s baseless allegations at a meeting of Maldivian Democratic Party’s (MDP) National Council, that the security forces were planning to kill several senior officials of MDP.
