Indian naval ship arrives in the Maldives

An Indian navy vessel named INS Airavat has arrived in the Maldives today.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) stated that the vessel had arrived in the Maldives early in the morning and will be in the Maldives until February 16, 2020.

The Maldives is often visited by the naval vessels of friendly countries. Two Japanese navy vessels also visited the country at the end of 2019.
