Maldivian to operate daily flight to Kooddoo

The national airline, Maldivian has made the decision to operate one flight per day to Kooddoo Airport, which was opened today.

Maldivian’s first flight landed at Kooddoo Airport this afternoon as part of the airport opening festivities. Maldivian has said that it will increase flights to Kooddoo based on demand.

Maldivian’s ticket prices for Kooddoo are the same as for Kaadeddhoo, with one-way tickets and return tickets between Male’ and Kooddoo priced at MVR1510 and MVR3021 respectively.

Kooddoo Airport is the sixth domestic airport to be opened in the Maldives. It was financed by Singapore’s Bonavista Maldives Pte Ltd, and constructed by KHA Resorts within seven months.
