WAMCO to survey amount of waste produced Villimale'

Wamco has decided to commence a survey in suburban Vilimale’ of Male city to assess the amount of waste produced in the households of the constituency.

The survey named “Waste Survey and Audit” will see Wamco officials visit around 336 households of Vilimale’ to find out the amount of waste produced by these households and the methods used for waste containment. An audit will also be carried out at the houses to further the services of the Wamco. 

Wamco informed that this survey will be conducted for three weeks from October 20, 2019. The survey will be conducted by cardbearing members of Wamco in all the zones of Villimale’ that the Corporation currently operates in.

Wamco also advised residents to ensure that those visiting the households are from the Corporation and to notify Police and Wamco of any suspicious activities.
