STO employees walk to work to promote climate action

State Trading Organization (STO) has staged a work to walk day in a bid to promote climate action.

All STO employees, including its chief executive officer and managing director Hussain Amr took part in the event this Tuesday.

STO reports that it staged its walk to work day in order to promote healthy living and highlight on action which can be taken on individual-level to reduce the carbon footprint and combat global warming and climate change.

The organization has also launched campaign to award a two percent discount to customers who shop at its supermarket, the STO People’s Choice Supermart with eco-friendly shopping bags.
