No interviews or information have been lost: CNI

The Commission of National Inquiry (CNI), established to investigate the change of government, has refuted rumours that the Commission had lost some information collected for its investigation.

The CNI said in a statement issued today, that the collected information is stored safely by the Commission, and that the members are confident that none of the information had been lost or misplaced.

Former President Mohamed Nasheed’s representative to the CNI Gaha Ahmed Saeed told the media last Sunday that he was not satisfied with CNI’s draft report, as it excluded interviews and other information collected by the CNI.

Saeed told reporters outside Muleeaage that day that the information in the draft report somewhat contradicted what people really experienced.

The CNI will publicise its report tomorrow, and also present it to the President, the Prosecutor General, the Attorney General and the Speaker of Parliament.
