Zero Plastic Run on Friday morning; kits being issued

The Zero Plastic Run, organized by Insight Consultancy Service (ICS), is scheduled to begin at 8 am on Friday, February 1.

ICS has asked all participants to report to the Hulhumale’ Central Park 30 minutes ahead of the start of the run.

Zero Plastic Run is a collaboration between ICS and The Cleaning Quest designed to promote a complete cease in use of plastics in daily life.

Participants have the option of either running or walking to complete the 5K event, and will also be provided with eco-friendly bags to pick up litter they find on the way to the finish line.

ICS has now begun issuing the kits – which include the eco-friendly bags – from its headquarters.

Kits will be issued from noon to 9 pm this Monday, and from 9 am to 9 pm from January 29-31.
