PS suspended following complaint lodged by Education Minister

Permanent Secretary at Ministry of Education, Mohamed Saeed has been placed on suspension, and is under investigation following a complaint lodged by Minister of Education, Dr. Aishath Ali.

Secretary-General of Civil Service Commission (CSC), Dr. Ibrahim Zuhury reports Saeed was placed on one-month suspension in accordance with the Civil Service Act last Thursday.

Zuhury confirms Saeed is under investigation following a complaint lodged by Dr. Aishath Ali. But declined to disclose the specifics of the complaint.

Former Director-General at Ministry of Education, Saeed was appointed its PS on November 9, 2017.
