Student enrollment to first grade for next year to open tomorrow

Education Ministry will be opening student enrollments to first grade in government schools for the upcoming academic year on Tuesday.

As per the Ministry, they will be opening student enrollments to LKG and UKG in government schools on Tuesday as well.

While schools in atolls are already issuing enrollment forms, the Ministry said enrollment forms for Male’ area schools will have to be submitted online.

The deadline to submit the forms is May 15^th. Education Ministry has decided against accepting forms submitted past the deadline and henceforth has urged to submit the forms at the earliest.

In a circular issued regarding the enrollment of students to schools and transferring schools, Education Ministry said students eligible for first grade should be turning six years old by December 31st but not seven years old.
