Man injured in traffic collision in L. Atoll link road

A man has sustained severe injuries in a traffic collision on the L. Atoll link road this Saturday afternoon.

Maldives Police Service says the collision was reported to the authority at 12:15 pm.

The collision took place between a motorcycle and a van in front of the Kadhdhoo Airport.

The victim of the collision has been identified as the 56-year-old man driving the motorcycle.

The injuries he sustained includes a broken shoulder bone and injuries to his chest.

He is being treated at the L. Gan Regional Hospital.
